Who is responsible

WSSHOTS, the sole proprietorship of Wesley van der Ven, based in Hoorn, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 99676117, is responsible for processing personal data as described in this statement.

What data I process

I process this data:

• Your name, email address and phone number, if you send me a WhatsApp message through the form on this site or email me.
• The date and type of event, and anything else you put in the message.
• Footage I make on assignment, insofar as people can be seen in it.

What I use it for

• To answer your question and agree on an assignment.
• To carry out and invoice an assignment.
• To meet the legal obligation to keep business records.

I don't use your data for advertising and I don't sell it.

How long I keep it

• Messages that don't lead to an assignment: one year, after which I delete them.
• Data that belongs to an assignment and is on the invoice: seven years, because the Dutch Tax Administration requires it.
• Footage: there is no fixed period. Footage I use, for the client or in my portfolio, I keep for as long as I use it. Footage I don't use, I delete.

Footage you appear in

At festivals and in clubs I film visitors and artists. If you are recognisable in a video and want it removed, send a message to info@wsshots.com describing the video and the moment. I will then take it out.

Who I share data with

• WhatsApp (Meta), if you send me a WhatsApp message through the form or directly. The form itself sends nothing: it opens WhatsApp with your message and you press send.
• VNP Media, which manages this website and my email. The website runs on Netlify, which processes technical data such as your IP address for that. My email runs on Strato.

I share nothing else with anyone, unless the law requires me to.

Cookies and statistics

This site sets no cookies and keeps no visitor statistics. The fonts are loaded through Google Fonts, which means your IP address reaches Google.

Your rights

You can always ask what data I have about you, have it corrected or deleted, and you can object to how it is used. Send a message to info@wsshots.com and I will reply within four weeks.

If we can't work it out together, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Security

The site runs over a secure connection and does not store any data from the form itself. Messages arrive in WhatsApp on my phone. If you think something isn't right, let me know.
